Rental Policies and Procedures
Care of Equipment:
All rentals are made with the understanding that normal wear and tear is included in the rent. However, any damage from
misuse, or improper care will be charged for.
Cleaning of Equipment:
Our rental rate structure anticipates all equipment being returned clean or additional charges will be made.
Credit:
With proper application and approval, a credit account may be arranged. Terms are net 30 days from invoice date. Interest will
be charged on all delinquent accounts at a periodic rate of 1 1/2% per month which is 18% per annum. Any complaints must be
registered with in 10 days of receipt of the invoice. Please email or call us for a credit application.
Delivery Charge:
Our delivery charges are based on the distance from our store to the delivery address. Minimum delivery is $20.00. Please
email or call us for a delivery quote.
Fuels and Merchandise:
All fuels (gas, diesel) and merchandise are available at an additional charge.
Identification:
Patts Rental requires identification on all rentals as follows:
1. Valid Nebraska driver's license.
2. Year, make and license of renter's vehicle.
3. Military ID or Nebraska ID card
Insurance:
Proof of insurance may be required on specific items to be rented.
Inventory:
All locations may not have all rental items in stock. Most can be transferred to the nearest location for your convenience with
and advance reservation and deposit.
Past Due:
Rented equipment is considered past due if not returned by the due date and time listed on the rental contract.
Prices:
Please email or call the closest location for current rental prices. All prices are subject to change without notice.
Rental Day:
A rental day is 24 hours. Equipment is charged for time out, not time used. Overtime will be charged at the National Rate of
one-sixth the daily rate per each hour overtime unless otherwise instructed. Metered equipment allows 8 hours maximum meter
time per 24 hour day or 40 hours maximum per week is allowed. Over these limits will be prorated.
Reservations:
It is always a good idea to reserve the rental item in advance. Some reservations require a deposit. You may also use our
website to make reservations online.
Towable Equipment:
Customer is responsible for having to correct equipment needed to tow our equipment. All of our equipment requires a 2" ball
hitch and a flat-4 light plug. Always check to make sure the couplers are locked into place and the safety chains are fastened
properly.
Damage Waiver:
Damage waiver is 10% of the rental and will automatically be added to the contract. Damage waiver covers accidental
damages to rental equipment. Damage waiver is NOT insurance. It does not cover theft, burglary, misuse, or abuse of
equipment. You may elect to opt out of the charges only if we have an Insurance Certificate on file with Patt's Rental Center as
the loss payee. Contact us for more details.
